Comet Lucifer Bercerita di sebuah planet bernama planet Gift, dimana terdapat kristal berharga bernama Giftjium dalam tanahnya. Pemuda bernama Sogo tinggal di salah satu kota tambang, Garden Indongo. Hobi Sogo adalah mengoleksi kristal langka. uati hari, ia terlibat dalam kerusuhan yang dimulai oleh temannya, Kaon, Roman, dan Otto, sampai ia tersesat jauh dan menemukan sebuah danau jauh di bawah reruntuhan tambang tua. Disana ia bertemu dengan gadis misterius berrambut biru dan bermata merah. Petualangan Sogo dimulai dari pertemuan ini.
